Your New Role
You will lead the Creative team to deliver campaign communications in ways that are engaging, creative and impactful – enhancing the reach and success of our activities. You will design and implement a content strategy and keep an eye on how effective our content is. You will also have oversight of our media activities, brand and visual presence and generate publicity for our work (across traditional and new media). You will lead and inspire the Creative and Media teams to achieve and grow together.
You are someone who:
- Has a genuine commitment to social and climate justice
- Thrives in an agile, responsive workplace and can work the plan at the same time
- Is a strategic and innovative thinker and planner, able to design effective strategies to reach target audiences
- Demonstrates success in managing content production processes including for major pieces of creative collateral
- Has strong know-how across all digital platforms and is tech savvy
- Understands traditional media and can provide strategic media advice
- Has led small successful teams previously
- Has a commitment to operate in alignment with GetUp’s workplace values around political independence, addressing structural inequity and acknowledging the intersectionality of justice.
