Union Organiser VIC (fixedterm)

The National Tertiary Education Union (NTEU) Victorian Division is seeking to employ a highly motivated, member focused individual with experience in organising, recruitment and campaigning, either in a trade union or in social justice organisations. The successful applicant will be committed to building the trade union movement. The position is offered as a fixed-term contract position, at full-time, concluding on 31 July 2024.

The National Tertiary Education Union (Victorian Division) covers staff employed in universities, associated companies, research institutes, TAFE, student unions and adult and community education. The Union’s membership includes Academic, General, Research and Professional staff.

The position will be filled at NTEU Level 5 or 6 ($93,333 to $115,515), depending on skills and experience, plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
