The position
The Digital Content Producer of Cancer Programs at ACON will create vibrant and engaging digital content. You will be responsible for producing and monitoring content for ACON’s Can We social marketing campaigns that include the National Own It Cervical Screening Campaign and the upcoming 2024 alcohol and cancer risk project. You will also work across the full spectrum of communications media that will focus on digital and social, including producing blog content for the Can We website.
  
About you
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate:

  • Strong writing skills and creativity in crafting vibrant and compelling digital content for ACON’s Can We campaigns, ensuring a visually engaging and impactful online presence.
  • Expertise in graphic design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator or similar software, contributing visually appealing elements to support social advertising.
  • Strong technical skills in utilising online social media platforms and technologies to maximise the reach and impact of campaigns.
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively, whether independently or collaboratively within a small team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, crucial for liaising and negotiating effectively with diverse partners and stakeholders.
  • A deep understanding of and commitment to ACON’s communities, ensuring that campaigns are not only effective but also culturally sensitive and inclusive.

This is a full-time position available on a two-year fixed term, with a preferred base in Sydney.
