We are a not-for-profit organisation that delivers outdoor adventure and recreation programs Victoria-wide for people at risk or living with a mental health issue. We believe that people learn best by ‘doing’ and focus on every participant’s ability rather than illness or disability.

About the role

Position Overview:

As a Marketing Assistant at Out Doors Inc., you will play a key role in crafting and disseminating our story. You’ll be instrumental in developing marketing collateral, supporting strategic projects, and bringing our events to life. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and sustainability of our services, aligning with our Strategic and Marketing Plans.

Key Details:

  • Tenure: Initially until June 2025, subject to a six-month probationary period and satisfactory checks (NDIS worker screening, police, and working with children).
  • Hours: We offer a part-time opportunity at 15.2 hours per week with flexible work options tailored to fit your life.
  • Reporting: To the Marketing Manager or as designated by the CEO.

What You’ll Do:

  • Marketing Collateral & Communications: Generate dynamic marketing materials for print, digital, and social platforms. Ensure our digital presence, including websites and social media, reflects our brand’s voice and mission.
  • Project Support: Assist in SEO campaigns, Google Ads, newsletter publication, and annual report creation, driving our online presence and audience engagement.
  • Event Planning & Delivery: Help organise and execute memorable events that align with our marketing objectives, from initial concept to successful completion. 

Who You Are:

  • You hold a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
  • You’re skilled in digital marketing across various platforms, including social media, EDM campaigns, and Google Ads.
  • You have a proven track record of producing and distributing effective marketing materials.
  • Your communication skills are second to none, and you have a keen eye for detail.
  • Organising and managing your time effectively comes naturally to you.
  • You’re independent, self-motivated, and have experience with design software (Canva, Adobe Photoshop/InDesign), Mailchimp, and WordPress.
