About the organisation
The Windsor Community Bank is a franchise of Bendigo Bank and operates under their banking licence. From our share of the profit we are responsible for all operational expenses including wages, rents, accounting and audit costs, sponsorships and grants and any other operational business costs.
Our Board is made up of people that have the skills to conduct our business in such a way that we are compliant and meet the needs of the relevant authorities, including ASIC, ATO, WorkCover.
Through Bendigo Bank we have continuing training programs available for Directors to upskill themselves and stay abreast of the changing business environment.
About the role
Community Bank Windsor has been in operation for over 20 years in the Windsor area. In that time we have contributed back to our community almost $2m. We are a franchise of Bendigo Bank and use this banking business to provide sponsorship and grants to our local and surrounding communities.
We are looking for people with skills in finance, media and social media, marketing and event planning. We are a unlisted public company that has 220 local shareholders. Our Directors are required to get involved with our community partners by attending events, promoting our business to their networks, attending monthly board meetings and bringing their skills to the business to assist its growth.
