The Australian Council for international Development (ACFID) is Australia’s peak body for NGOs involved in international development and humanitarian action.
We are seeking an ICT and Operations Support Officer to assist with day-to-day technology needs and coordinate our external technical support providers as needed. The role is part of the Business Operations & Services Team which is responsible for the operations of this Canberra based Secretariat and will from time to time be called upon to support planned or ad-hoc projects. The role will also provide logistic support for our National Conference which is delivered as a hybrid event.
The successful candidate will be motivated and experienced in general ICT assistance. They will have a can-do attitude, and the ability to take initiative and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment. They will value diversity in the workplace and commit to ACFID’s values as outlined in our Strategic Plan. An understanding of the context of ACFID members’ work and experience with event support or working in a not-for-profit is desirable but not essential.
