The Information and Technology division drives digital innovation and the way we interact with our customers through the development of digital products, IT support, cyber security, and information management services.

About the role
This is an exciting opportunity that will see you lead NSW Trustee and Guardian’s (NSWTG) efforts to implement and maintain information governance, modernise records management and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the State Records Act 1998.
As Manager, Information Management (Governance) you will own the implementation of best practice information management across the organisation to ensure NSWTG’s information and records are managed compliantly and efficiently.
Additionally, you will:
- develop and implement an annual information management program that includes reviews of current legislative requirements, policies and procedures.
- provide regular reports on the progress of NSWTG information management compliance activities.
- manage external information management compliance and audit requirements e.g., State Records NSW Records Management Assessment Tool (RMAT).
- manage access directions and archival transfers.
- coach and nurture the broader information management team to develop capability and soft skills.
- support the information management operations team, by providing support and advice administering Content Manager (TRIM).
- collaborate with NSWTG divisions to ensure information management requirements are included in relevant information systems, policies and procedures.
- contribute to the delivery of an information management strategy and data governance program that will support and advance the strategic vision of the organisation.

About you
Your application is encouraged if you are:

- Highly skilled in stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation to drive improvements to the organisation’s information management landscape.
- Demonstrate previous skills and experience of developing an information management program, and the project management and influencing skills to implement the program across an organisation.
- Significant experience working in an information management or data governance function, with exceptional knowledge of the legislative requirements relating to records and information management.
- Able to demonstrate experience administering Content Manager (TRIM) or similar EDRMS for a large organisation.

- Tertiary qualifications in records, information and archive management or a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
