Team Leader & Senior Registered Psychologist – BSP

This is ideal time to join a dynamic Allied Health team who are going through a growth phase and expanding within NDIS. 

This thriving NFP are now looking for a Team Leader who is Registered Psychologist with experience in behaviour support to join the team. 

Salary of $107,000–$120,000 + super + salary packaging + monthly bonus + car allowance, CPD allowance and additional CPD leave based on qualifications and experience 

Our Client invest in their staff and recognise that it takes a community of truly talented individuals who are deeply motivated by seeing their clients live their best life. The role of the Senior Psychologist is to provide specialist support services to people with disabilities, their families and carers.  These services are delivered within a person-centered, strengths based approach; identifying the individual’s strengths and needs and designing a program of support as per their individual goals in their NDIS package.

As the senior psychologist who is a team lead, you will also support front line clinicians through supervision, report writing, and registration requirements. This is a great opportunity to move into a more leadership role as a Senior member of the team.  

More about the role:

• Manage a caseload of people with a disability and their families or carers, who present with psychological or behaviour support needs in accordance with best practice guidelines to ensure positive outcomes for clients under their NDIS goals
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision and support to other allied health staff and students, ensuring the use of best practice models that meet the needs of disability program requirements and individuals and families
• Collaborate with other clinical disciplines in the development and delivery of therapeutic interventions
• Support the philosophy of person centered practice and engage in collaborative, holistic goal setting
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures and standards impacting on the delivery of services to people with disabilities, including the Disability Inclusion Act 2014

To be eligible to apply:

• APHRA Registered
• Proficient Practitioner BSP Level
• Registered Psychologist with number of years of relevant experience.
• Flexibility in work hours may be necessary and some travel
• Driver’s license required and car for work
• Able to obtain a clean Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
