About the role
Hudson Institute is seeking a dynamic and passionate fundraiser, project manager and communicator with a proven or relevant track record to join our team in the newly created Donor Engagement Coordinator position. Reporting to the Donor Engagement and Fundraising Manager, you will support a growing fundraising program by applying your best practice knowledge, experience, and ideas for success.
In collaboration with the wider team, your role will support the cultivation and solicitation of donors and prospects to further grow the fundraising program across various channels.
The ideal person for the role is positive, collaborative, adaptable and creative. They will be an excellent communicator and multi-tasker, and ideally have some experience with individual giving, development of appeals, relationship-building, and prospect research.
You will bring demonstrated capabilities in project management, with a well-honed ability to take a project from early concept development through to execution and evaluation with strong attention to detail.
Additionally, you will have experience in the research, cultivation and stewardship of relationships with donors and of prospects, with a strong ability to write, speak and engage with audiences across various channels and in-person. Cultivation and maintenance of donor confidence and trust is a critical capability.
EMPLOYMENT TERMS
This position is a fixed term contract role in a Full time or Part time (0.8 – 1.0 FTE) capacity. Salary is based on Scientific Support Group, Tap 5. Superannuation of 11.5% and very attractive salary packaging options are available.
