Are you a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher/Educational Leader/Nominated Supervisor passionate about creating a nurturing learning environment for young children? We are seeking a talented Leader to join a dedicated team, fostering collaborative relationships with families, supporting each child’s unique learning journey, and continuously enhancing their expertise.

Our client’s philosophy empowers children to lead, create, and solve problems independently. Educators and families collaborate to build strong relationships, support transitions, and recognise each child’s unique capabilities. The focus is on process over product, with a commitment to continuous professional growth and responsive, individualised curriculum development.
 
This position is eligible for incentives under the Department of Education’s 2024-25 3-year-old funded Kindergarten program. You could secure up to $17K in relocation assistance to move to Swan Hill, renowned for its Murray River location, fresh local produce, epic landscapes, Australian native wildlife and Aboriginal heritage.

As an educational leader/nominated supervisor, you will be a highly professional and knowledgeable leader responsible for implementing a quality educational program and curriculum in line with approved learning frameworks to support the education and care needs of the children. You will ensure your own practices, and those of others, are consistently performed to a high standard.
To be successful in this role you will need to be a dedicated, positive, and enthusiastic teacher who has strong written and verbal communication skills.  Working in a collaborative team building strong relationships with parents and children and your team. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Assess and document children’s learning and development
  • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture

A Degree in Early Childhood Education is essential for this role. While prior experience is preferred, we also encourage recent graduates to apply. To ensure the safety of our children, successful candidates must hold a current Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a criminal record check
