We are seeking an Australia-based Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for assessing companies on climate change and/or biodiversity loss. By mastering our methodology and processes, you will have the opportunity to specialize in corporate climate policy engagement in Australia. You will have the opportunity to engage with our key stakeholders in the region (investors, civil society groups, the media, companies) and make a real impact on the trajectory of the climate and nature agendas.
Full training in our research methods and how to effectively communicate our results will be provided. Upon demonstrating your ability in this specialization, you may also have the opportunity to develop expertise in other areas; such as specific sectors, policy areas, or geographic regions, in line with the organization’s project needs. Our approach is highly data-orientated and involves accuracy, consistency and great attention to detail. InfluenceMap’s work is in widespread use by finance, the media and other stakeholders; thus we place great importance on the ability to communicate our content (both written and verbal) effectively.
To be successful in this role at InfluenceMap, you should have:
- Outstanding analytical and data analysis skills, with a very strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex issues and data-driven analysis concisely and convincingly
- IT and software skills across a range of common applications
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Right to work in Australia

Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely or from our offices, as needed, based on demands of specific tasks or personal work preferences. We currently have office access organized in Canberra.
