Are you a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher passionate about creating a nurturing learning environment for young children? We are seeking a talented Early Childhood Teacher to join a passionate and dedicated team.
Our client is looking for an experienced kindergarten teacher, part-time (22.5 hours) or additional full-time hours can be done in the school readiness program, to join a dedicated team of early childhood professionals. In this role, you will lead the kindergarten room for up to 22 mixed-age children (3 and 4 years old) in a sessional care setting.
You’ll work closely with vulnerable families and have the option to take on additional hours focused on school readiness programs. If you’re passionate about making a difference in young children’s lives, we want to hear from you!.
The service has one of the largest outdoor play spaces in Mildura, featuring big trees that offer natural shade and create a welcoming atmosphere for children.
As a family-friendly and culturally aware kindergarten, we believe that play is the best way for children to learn. The kindergarten program is designed to provide a diverse range of educational experiences, allowing children to explore their interests.

This position is eligible for incentives under the Department of Education’s 2024-25 3-year-old funded Kindergarten program. You could secure $21,000 to $38,000 in relocation incentives to move to Mildura. Perched on the edge of the wild Australian outback, Mildura is an oasis on the Murray River boasting Mediterranean-style sunshine and a laid-back outdoor lifestyle.
As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in implementing engaging learning experiences, building strong partnerships with families, and promoting children’s growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Assess and document children’s learning and development
- Create a stimulating and safe learning environment
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
A Degree in Early Childhood Education is essential for this role. While prior experience is preferred, we also encourage recent graduates to apply. To ensure the safety of our children, successful candidates must hold a current VIT, Working with Children Check and be prepared to undergo a criminal record check
