About the role

Role description:
Due to increasing demand, we are seeking another dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have passion for working with individuals to support their mental, emotional, and behavioural health, utilising evidence-based practices. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and NDIS participants across diverse backgrounds, while working in a positive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred psychological services, tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships
- Work with clients across various age groups, including children, adolescents, adults and seniors
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of allied health and mental health professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records consistent with ethical and legal standards
Qualifications & Experience:
- Registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current Working with Children Check – Blue Card
- NDIS Worker Screening Check – Yellow Card
- Medicare provider registration
Key qualities:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with diverse age cohorts and presenting issues
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-care practices
Desirable:
- Experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapeutic modalities
- Previous experience working in the community or private practice settings
- Specialisation in a specific area of interest (e.g. trauma, anxiety, children’s mental health, employee assistance counselling services, behaviour support etc.).
