About the organisation
At Milparinka, we provide flexible and individualised supports to enable people with disability to achieve their ambitions, and to live richer and more fulfilled lives. Our approach is grounded in authentic relationships with the people we support, and their families, to ensure that what we do makes sense in the context of their lives, and produces positive individualised outcomes.
We Believe and Value:
- Knowing People Well: We understand that every journey is unique. By investing time to truly know each person, we ensure our contributions are relevant and have a lasting impact.
- Recognising that Money doesn’t think, people do: We believe that thoughtful, creative thinking is key to unlocking opportunities—not simply having enough funding.
- That success is Personal: For us, success is defined one person at a time, through stories of opportunities created, goals achieved and people telling us that their life is more fulfilled.
- That people should be supported to have A Good Life, Not Just a Good Service: We aim to deliver outcomes that go beyond service delivery, helping people envision, realise, and enjoy a life that makes sense to them.
- That every person has potential: We see potential in every person, no matter the level of their disability. We believe in supporting all people to imagine better, aim higher, and expect more in their lives.
