About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced Management Accountant / Outsourced CFO to join our strategic advisory team on a full time (preferred) or a part time (0.8 FTE) basis.
Key Duties will include:
- Leading the finance function for a portfolio of clients, delivering a range of monthly financial services, including budgeting, forecasting, and annual audit support.
- Representing clients at Board meetings, delivering strategic financial insights.
- As a trusted strategic advisor to clients, providing high-level advisory on financial strategy, compliance, and legislative updates.
- Identifying improvement opportunities for clients to enhance efficiency and best practices.
- Overseeing internal client service teams, including mentoring staff and championing continuous improvement
- Lead ad-hoc project work for clients, such as implementation of new systems; re-design of reporting and budgeting processes etc
About You
We are seeking a candidate who:
- Has experience in finance leadership roles, such as CFO, Financial Controller, or similar.
- Holds CPA, CA, or CIMA qualification.
- Has strong client relationship management skills, especially in advisory contexts.
The following traits are desirable but not essential:
- Experienced in the not-for-profit sector.
- A background in consulting or practice, and/or in serving internal customers.
