Are you a dedicated and compassionate trainer with a passion for empowering learners with intellectual disabilities? Life Skills Victoria (LSV) is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of those we teach.

Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110) plus TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 (highly desirable)
- Experience and passion for teaching learners with intellectual disabilities
- 3 years of experience in the field
- Vocational Competency: Demonstrable expertise in teaching in the special education field.
Expertise in teaching in the special education field can be demonstrated by:
- Holding a qualification with a special education specialisation (e.g., Bachelor of Education with a Special Education specialisation, Master of Special Education, Master of Education (Special Education)).
- Ongoing relevant professional development
- Engagement with disability teacher networks
- Peer review or third-party reports detailing performance
- Documented relevant teaching experience
In addition, qualifications or experience in teaching literacy and/or numeracy are highly valued.
