Victoria Walks is a health promotion charity driving the movement for walkable communities in Victoria. Since 2009, we’ve been advocating for safer, more connected walking environments to inspire daily walking, improve public health, and influence policy at all levels.

About the role
We’re seeking a dynamic CEO to lead the organisation, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure financial sustainability. The CEO will oversee program development, business growth, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy efforts, working closely with the Board to shape the future direction of Victoria Walks. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to build relationships with government, corporate partners, and key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, a successful track record in organisational management, and expertise in financial oversight. Experience in advocacy, public speaking, and a relevant tertiary qualification in public health, business management, or a related field is essential. Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are a must, along with a commitment to the vision and goals of Victoria Walks.
