About the team
The Information Management Team supports the Director Information and Technology through management of strategic projects, support and coordination of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity that will see you lead NSW Trustee and Guardian’s (NSWTG) efforts to implement and maintain information governance, modernise records management and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the State Records Act 1998.
As Manager of Information Management, you will take ownership of the Corporate Information and Records Management function and team, responsible for providing a range of enterprise-wide services, including the administration of our EDRMS, Content Manager (TRIM).
Additionally:
- Supported by the information and records management teams, you will provide high-quality operational and strategic information management services, and expert advice and oversee the administration of Content Manager (TRIM) across the organisation.
- You’ll build, implement and maintain a service function for information and records management, including the use of Content Manager (TRIM).
- You’ll be responsible for the new information and record management single view tool to implement retention and disposal across the organisation.
- You’ll coach and nurture the information and records management teams to develop their technical and soft skills.
- You’ll contribute to the delivery of an information management strategy and data governance program that will support and advance the strategic vision of the organisation.
- You’ll manage corporate information and records through the review and embedding of information and records management policies and procedures across the organisation.

About you

- Able to demonstrate a high level of expertise in the field of information and records management.
- Previous experience in designing and delivering an information and records management compliance program.
- Significant experience working in a records and information management function, with exceptional knowledge of legislative requirements.
- Highly skilled in stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation to drive improvements to the organisation’s information management landscape.
- Possess a positive “can-do” attitude and be self-motivated.

- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
