Over 150 children are killed each year in Australia due to unintentional injury and a further 68,000 are hospitalised. More children die from injury than from cancer, asthma and infectious diseases combined.

Role Overview
The primary role of the Operations Manager – PLAY is to coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of service delivery, staff, and stakeholders as required to ensure that Kidsafe SA’s PLAY services are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the organisation’s quality management system and defined policies and procedures.
The Operations Manager – PLAY plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, optimising systems and processes and maintaining compliance. They will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve existing service models and resources for PLAY.

We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role, preferably in the not-for-profit or healthcare sector.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience in leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams to foster a collaborative, results-driven culture.
- A high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting and operational processes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, building strong internal and external relationships.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to operational management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a results-driven mindset.
- High levels of written communication skills including preparing reports, briefing notes, policies and procedures.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, work to strict deadlines, and maintain strong organisational skills.
