Are you a numbers powerhouse with a sharp strategic mind and a passion for meaningful work? Djirra is on the lookout for an exceptional Finance Manager to lead our finance team and help drive real impact.

 

As Finance Manager, you won’t just be managing spreadsheets—you’ll be steering the financial engine of an organisation that advocates, empowers, and delivers. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services and working closely with our CEO, you’ll play a key role in shaping Djirra’s future through smart budget management, sharp cost-benefit analysis, and solid forecasting.

 

You’ll be the trusted financial advisor to our senior executive team and Board, guiding strategic decisions with clarity and confidence. From developing best-practice systems to ensuring rock-solid risk management, you’ll make sure our financial foundations are strong—and future-ready.

 

About the Role

This position is to effectively lead and manage the Djirra Finance team. It is responsible for the development of best practice financial management accounting and to ensure that appropriate and effective strategies, policies, systems and risk management controls are in place to assist senior managers to make the best business decisions for Djirra.

 

The Finance Manager will provide sound financial advice and directly assist the Director of Corporate Services (DCS) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis and forecasting needs of Djirra, and present financial performance to the Senior Executive Team and the Board.

 

Requirements

Essential

  • A postgraduate qualification (CPA or CA) in accounting.
  • A Victorian Employees Working with Children’s Check card or willing to obtain one
  • Willing to obtain a Police Check at Djirra’s expense
