About the organisation
CMPA is the peak representative body advocating for the Victorian extractive resources industry. It represents a broad spectrum of those involved in construction material processing including construction and demolition waste recycling businesses and has a membership base consisting of over 220 quarries across the industry. Together, these members employ approximately 2000 Victorians which underpins the construction industry of almost 240,000 employees.
About the role
CMPA is seeking a candidate that is hands-on, dynamic and experienced who wants to be part of a small high-performing team in Kilmore who likes to travel intrastate. More specifically:
Some Key Responsibilities

Implement membership strategy and maintain member satisfaction to support retention and recruitment initiatives.

Hands-on event organisation, budgets, timelines and logistics etc.

Produce high-quality communications (printed, social media, web-based etc.) for CMPA members and stakeholders which enhance the organisation’s outreach and image.
About you
-
Relevant tertiary qualification (Communications, Event Management, Marketing, or related field).

Minimum five years in a peak industry body.

Experience in the quarrying or similar industries highly valued.

Proven track record of achieving membership targets.
-
Demonstrated experience delivering exceptional membership services including events and communications/publications.

Highly articulate with excellent oral and written communication skills.

Impeccable attention to detail.

Proven well-developed interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills.

Proven diplomacy skills with various stakeholders and commitment to customer service.

Demonstrated organisational and project management skills.

Demonstrated high level computer skills and proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and webinar software.
