About the organisation
Wildlife Network Tasmania (WNT) is a not-for-profit incorporated association dedicated to improving the lives of wildlife and all who care for them. We work with the wildlife rehabilitation sector, government, and other partners to implement the community-led Wildlife Rehabilitation Sector Strategy and build a dedicated, statewide wildlife rehabilitation peak body in Tasmania.
Our purpose is to strengthen and support the rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured and orphaned wildlife by building capacity, skills, connections, and leadership across the sector. We do this through supporting volunteers, delivering accessible training, increasing engagement, advocating for wildlife, and ensuring strong sector coordination.
