The Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary General Manager, Behavioural and Workplace Health (BWH), to lead the delivery and strategic growth of the workplace and behavioural health services. This leadership position will shape the future of the BWH portfolio and ensure the high quality behavioural mental health clinical services which are preventative and responsive to mitigate against workplace psychosocial hazards and strengthen workforce wellbeing to a broad range of high risk workforces in health, justice, courts and government sectors.

In this diverse and exciting new position, you will be responsible for ensuring excellence in ongoing service delivery, clinical governance, risk management, and financial performance. Manage multidisciplinary teams and support line managers, oversee contract compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement across all service agreements and involvement in tender preparation and delivery. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, drive business development, and support Caraniche’s reputation in the workplace health sector.

What You Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in a health discipline (e.g. organisational psychology, allied health, medical)
  • Qualifications in business, leadership, or commercial management
  • Senior leadership experience in a health or human services environment (General Management/Senior Operations Management level)
  • Strong business and commercial acumen to lead sustainable, commercial viability and grow and scale across a national footprint.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams
  • Strong business development and strategic insight
  • Outstanding stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • A collaborative leadership style aligned to Caraniche’s values and purpose
