About the organisation

Organisation Name : Julia Farr Association Purple Orange

We are a social profit organisation on a mission to create a more inclusive world where people with disability have access to the same opportunities as everyone else.

Our 2024-27 Strategic Plan outlines how we aim to achieve this mission through five key focus areas: building leadership, influencing systemic change, influencing community change, partnering with regional communities, and strengthening organisational capacity.

All our work is driven by a commitment to rights-based inclusion guided by the principles of:

  • Personhood: People with disability can exercise personal authority.
  • Citizenhood: People with disability are active citizens in the life of the community.
  • Capacity building: The capacity of people with disability is enhanced, at the level of the individual, and the family and the community.
