Senior Manager – Early Childhood Coordination

We’re seeking an enthusiastic Senior Manager – Early Childhood Coordination to join our dedicated NDIS Services Team. This role involves managing and delivering Partner in the Community Early Childhood Coordination services within the Brotherhood of St Laurence (BSL) Disability Services Division. 

  • Location: Hume Merri-bek Area based at the BSL NDIS Hume Merri-bek Office (Broadmeadows, VIC 3047).
  • Type of Employment: 12-month Max-term position, Full-time (working 38-40 hours per week) until October 2026.

ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

As a Senior Manager – Early Childhood Coordination, you will manage a BSL Disability Services site to deliver Partner in the Community Early Childhood Coordination Services in a defined geographical area.

You will drive a supportive, safe, positive, outcome-oriented team culture – focused on developing community engagement plans and meeting contractual and organisational expectations. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Service Delivery, Team Culture and Performance
  • Community Engagement, Capacity Building, Planning, and Implementation Services
  • Continuous Quality Improvement
  • Compliance, Human Resources and Risk Management
  • Stakeholder Relationships

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking applicants who have: 

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in allied health, early childhood teaching, disability services, education, human services, community development, social work, or extensive experience in a leadership role within an organisation with highly contested stakeholders. 
  • Eligibility for Registration with AHPRA, AASW, VIT or any other relevant body.
  • Experience in the disability sector or awareness of the impact of existing or acquired disability upon individuals, families/carers, and the community.
  • Industry experience working with children, families, or disability.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of early childhood development, developmental delay, and the early intervention service sector.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills, including multi-tasking, prioritising workload, and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and change management.
  • A commitment to maintaining and supporting child safety, equity, inclusion, and cultural safety. You will be required to abide by the Child & Adult Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct, and related child-safe policies and procedures.
  • Understanding of and empathy with the values and ideals of the Brotherhood of St Laurence.
