Bid Lead
At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Bid Lead to join our dedicated team Service Quality and Safegaurding team.
Location: Office Location
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time working 38 hours per week
Salary: $122,960.12 to $128,093.62 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation.

About the role
The Services Group Bid Lead is responsible for identifying and making recommendations on business development opportunities aligned to BSL’s strategic objectives and the Services Group priority focus areas through strong coordination and collaboration.
- Work both independently and in collaboration to provide an integrated approach to identifying business development and growth opportunities
- Participate in and contribute to departmental service development workshops to build a knowledge bank of service models under consideration and development.
- Keep abreast of media, research reports, policies and primary resources regarding all matters related to the addressing poverty alleviation in Australia.
- Foster, build and maintain collaborative, positive and sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively within teams to achieve common goals

What we are looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for supporting the mission of BSL and delivering excellence in your role.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:
- Significant experience in administering a funding and/or grants scheme and/or demonstrated experience in research management and governance in a similar organisation.
- Strong communication skills appropriate for a diverse cohort; the ability to clearly convey information and ideas in written and verbal form; and establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders; ability to professionally handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Highly developed organisational skills to meet deadlines and attention to detail; ability to prioritise a diverse workload; deal with ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances and new responsibilities.
- A history of professional and respectful behaviours and attitudes; the ability to work under minimal supervision in a geographically dispersed team environment, proactively collaborating, consulting, and sharing resources to accomplish objectives
