Relationship Matters also delivers a family violence program and provides Employee Assistance Programs, training and consultancy to workplaces.

About the role

Manager Family Violence Program (0.8-1.0 EFT)

  • $120K – 125K + super + salary packaging
  • Hybrid working options, with 2 days in our CBD office and 1 day in Wyndham

About the role

The role will lead the strategic and operational delivery of services and focus on the continuous development of the program. This role is responsible for overseeing staff management, developing strong and strategic partnerships and ensuring compliance with funding, policy and legislative requirements. With a focus on risk and safety, the Manager will foster a culture of collaboration, drive innovation and improvement, and strengthen the program’s impact within the community.

About you

You are a compassionate and experienced leader with a strong background in family violence. You bring a deep understanding of the drivers of family violence, along with expertise in evidence-based, trauma-informed, and accountability-focused interventions. Your excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills support collaborative partnerships, while your strategic thinking enables you to lead service improvements in a complex and competitive funding environment. You are passionate about building and supporting high-performing teams and are committed to fostering a strong, values-based culture.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a Behavioural/Social Science
  • Previous management experience in a similar role or field, particularly in the family violence sector (minimum 3 years)
  • Sound knowledge of counselling and therapeutic group work theory and practice, including contemporary methods of professional supervision
