About the role

  • Ongoing full-time vacancy, 35 hours per week. 

  • Location: This role is based in Sydney. Flexible and hybrid working options available. 

 
  • Clerk Grade: 11/12. Base salary $149,739 to $173,174 p.a. plus super and annual leave loading.  

 

About the team  

The Office of the CEO provides strategic, executive, and operational support to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team to ensure NSWTG delivers on its priorities and maintains strong governance. OCEO also manages external engagement with government stakeholders and oversees organisational improvement initiatives.   

 

About the role 

The Senior Change Manager leads and manages the design and delivery of change, communication and training strategies across NSW Trustee and Guardian, with a primary focus on supporting technology initiatives relating to projects, programs and operational changes. This role will develop, monitor and evaluate change management and communications frameworks. 

The role is responsible for driving strategic and operational performance by working collaboratively with the business to identify, plan and implement change, communication, and training solutions. 

As the Senior Change Manager, you will:  

  • Design, manage, develop and deliver effective change management and communication strategies and plans for programs, projects and operations across NSW Trustee and Guardian.   

  • Manage the delivery of all aspects of change and communications, including stakeholder and impact assessment, engagement, communication, training, support and business readiness to embed the required business change.  

  • Ensure key stakeholders, business sponsors and project partners where necessary are actively engaged in planning and their needs are incorporated in change, communication and engagement strategies and plans.  

  • Development and implementation of a range of training and capability programs that support broader NSW Trustee and Guardian commitments. 

  • Design and delivery of change, communication and training methodology and frameworks for project delivery and BAU operation teams. 

  • Develop both proactive and responsive communication strategies and activities which are aligned to ICT and NSW Trustee and Guardian operational priorities. 

  • Identify issues in change management methodologies and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of tools, techniques and templates for implementation of change initiatives.  

  • Establish measurable performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of any change implementation and implement monitoring and analysis of these metrics.  

  • Champion continuous improvement strategies and activities that contribute to the development of change management practice in alignment with business improvement reforms including facilitating lessons learned, project closure and quality initiatives.

About you 

The ideal person will have: 

  • Extensive experience in change management and communication strategies and plans for programs, projects and operations. 

  • Extensive experience in managing the delivery of all aspects of change and communications, including stakeholder and impact assessment, engagement, communication, training, support and business readiness to embed the required business change.   

  • Knowledge and experience in a change/transformation work environment. 

  • Passion for continuous improvement of processes within the business. 

  • Excellent communication skills to work confidently with a diverse range of customers, colleagues, and senior management. 

  • Positive attitude and a proactive leader who enjoys delivering large, complex objectives in a changing environment.
