Senior Manager – Early Years
At Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL), we are seeking a passionate Senior Manager – Early Years to join our dedicated Community Programs team.
Location: Fitzroy
Job Type: Maximum Term Full-Time working 38 hours per week
Salary: $133,407.97 – $138,659.11 per annum, based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation.

About the role
- Lead the Early Years Strategic Priority project and the Early Years and EYCF programs, ensuring alignment with BSL’s mission and its strategic direction
- Oversee the implementation of integrated early years services across sites, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Drive innovation in early years integrated service design and delivery
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal teams, government agencies, community partners, and funders to support the success and sustainability of early years initiatives
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with BSL’s health and safety policies and procedures
- Manage program budgets with a high level of financial accountability , ensuring effective resource allocation and expenditure control

What we are looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for supporting the mission of BSL and delivering excellence in your role.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has the following key skills and experiences:

Tertiary qualifications in education, early childhood education, social work, community services/development, or a related field.

Relevant experience in strategic leadership and advocacy in social policy including demonstrated track record in representation at senior levels of Government, community organisation and private sector.

Demonstrated experience in leading complex projects and service delivery across multiple sites.

Strong understanding of early years development, integrated service models, and the needs of vulnerable children and families
