We are proud to continue the tradition of serving the community by providing free legal advice, fundraising for worthy causes and serving on the boards of schools, hospitals and community organisations.
Our firm’s background in the communities and associations space is unmatched and through the vast experience of our team, we thoroughly understand the environment in which communities and associations operate.
Carroll & O’Dea presently act for a large number of community and associations organisations. Our areas of expertise include:
- Charity law
- tax effective structures
- the establishment of charitable trusts
- governance across all forms of organisation
- constitutions
- compliance
- contracts of employment and other employment law issues
- general advice to:
- schools and other educational institutions
- hospitals and other health care institutions
- retirement villages and nursing homes and aged care providers; and
