About the role
The Blood Service have vacancies for volunteers to look after our wonderful donors after their donation. In the Refreshments area we provide our donors with milkshakes, fruit and little snacks post donation.
We ask all our donors to sit and relax for 15 minutes after they donate to make sure they feel ok and this is our opportunity to spoil them that little bit and say thank you.
Our volunteers keep the refreshment area tidy and serve the donors.
Elizabeth St Donor Centre is located at Martin Place railway station and operates the following hours:
Monday: 11:30am – 7:30pm
Tuesday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Wednesday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
Thursday: 11:30am – 7:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 3:00pm
and soon opening on Saturdays.
We find the best shifts are 4 hours per fortnight, but we can be flexible to meet our volunteers.
