About the role
This year on Sunday, May 14 the Mother’s Day Classic fun walk/run turns 20. As the major fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the MDC has contributed more than $30 million to breast cancer research.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help out on the day!
Volunteers have played a vital role in our success over the last 20 years. Volunteers are needed for a variety of roles including managing the cloak room or drink station, marshalling at the starts, or in the cheer squad on the course. If you are keen to participate but don’t feel like running or walking you can join in the fun and support breast cancer research by signing up to help out at the Domain (Sydney) or Parramatta Park (Western Sydney).

It’s a great day for the family to walk, run or volunteer together to raise much-needed funds for breast cancer research. 40 Australian women are diagnosed with breast cancer each day – the more we raise, the faster a cure can be found.
