About the role

Help us to reach our campaign goals by volunteering for us.
The Kids’ Cancer Project raises funds for childhood cancer research. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to assist the fundraising by working on exciting campaigns including Pirate Day Friday, Crazy Hair & Sock Day, Cupcakes 4 a Cure, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and much more!
In this role you will be responsible for –
• Attending and supporting event days including NSW Swifts Netball games and cycle/run challenges
• Internet research and compilation of data
• Preparation and posting of merchandise kits and collateral
• Calling our friendly supporters
• General support for the fundraising team in campaigns and events
• Ad hoc administration duties
Working as part of a small team, you will be empathetic and sensitive with a confident phone manner. You will be keen and enthusiastic and able to work autonomously. You will also have experience in Microsoft Office and online research. Working with our team will open up opportunities to help us develop our campaigns and move into new areas
You will be supported by an experienced and professional team at all times and have the opportunity to receive feedback from them. This is an unpaid position, 7-14 hours a week for a period of three months.
