About the organisation

Organisation name : Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community Transport

Established in 1987, HKCT is a client focused organisation, providing clean, safe, reliable transport services to the aged and the transport disadvantaged across Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai LGAs. Through these activities we aim to improve the physical and mental health of our clients and reduce the likelihood of their premature admission to long-term residential care. Transport also allows our clients to build & sustain community participation, access other services and socialise.
HKCT currently has a fleet of 14 vehicles and 30 employees led by a General Manager and is government funded, primarily as part of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) under contract with Transport for NSW.
