About the role
We are looking for someone to lead our awesome comms team so that we can inform and inspire our followers. The Communication Lead will be responsible for building the outward-facing communication and messaging of the organisation at times, leading the communications Team (content and tech).
Key responsibilities :
- build the Comms strategy for our campaigns
- Lead the Comms team, made up of graphic designers, a videographer and copywriters.
- Ensure consistency across all messaging and content
- Write email blasts
- Create social media content where necessary

For too long now our interests have been left out of a public agenda largely set by a small group of people who do not represent us or the issues that matter to us. We believe in a democratic system that can truly work for us all. Our goal is to help young community leaders and people from historically marginalised communities fully engage in our political system and be part of setting a bold, new agenda for our future. Our work is centred around encouraging and supporting young people with fresh and progressive ideas to run successful, strategic campaigns with the power to create a better kind of politics in Australia.
