About the role
Support healthy hearts by volunteering at Coastrek Canberra 2024
Coastrek is Australia’s most popular women’s hiking event. The event will see hundreds of teamed up trekkers – women and men – hiking for healthy hearts along Canberra’s iconic Lake Burley Griffin to raise life-saving funds for the Heart Foundation.
Coastrek Canberra takes place on Friday 15 March and we’d love to welcome you to our community of amazing Volunteers! By volunteering, you’re helping to make a real difference to the important work of the Heart Foundation in supporting Australian hearts.
What’s involved?
As an Event Day Assistant, you’ll be cheering on trekkers, helping to set up check points or supporting trekkers with food and drink replenishments. Your support on event day will be rewarded with:
• FREE entry into Coastrek 2025
• Branded merchandise
• Discount voucher to the Heart Foundation online shop
• Free lunch for shifts of 4+ hours
• Recognition from the Heart Foundation
• Incredible views and a memorable experience!
Coastrek is held on a Friday so it’s a great opportunity to join up with your team for your corporate volunteer leave.
You bring the vibe and help us to make sure that these events are incredible for the Coastrekkers who raise life-saving funds for Heart Foundation initiatives.
