About the role
Role Overview:
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Oaktree’s financial health. Leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills, you will provide valuable financial insights, analysis, and strategic guidance to aid in the effective management of Oaktree’s resources. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving Oaktree towards greater success and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse financial data, identify opportunities for improvements, and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance
- Utilise historical data and market analysis to accurately forecast revenues, expenses, and cash flows
- Develop financial models to support decision making and evaluate the financial impact of various scenarios and initiatives
- Help prepare the annual budget, perform budget variance analysis, and monitor budgetary performance
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for internal stakeholders and communicate financial insights in a clear, concise, and understandable manner
- Contribute to ad hoc project assigned by the Director of Finance and the Executive Team
Requirements:
- Passionate about social change and not-for-profit organisations
- Interested in financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a critical and creative mindset
- Attention to detail and the ability to gather, analyse, and interpret data from multiple sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team
