About the role
Role Overview:
As a Social Media Volunteer, you will help manage and grow Listen Up Music’s online presence, creating engaging content to promote our programs, events, and impact. Your efforts will play a key role in raising awareness and fostering a supportive music community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and schedule content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages.
- Support promotional campaigns for The Songwriting Prize and other initiatives.
- Assist with content planning and storytelling to highlight artist journeys, mental health advocacy, and program successes.
- Monitor social media trends and suggest creative strategies to boost engagement.
Who We’re Looking For:
- A passionate music and mental health advocate.
- Experience in social media management or content creation (personal or professional).
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe, or similar) is a plus.
