About the role
We are a small, not-for-profit incorporated association based in Sydney, NSW. The last 5 years have been a very challenging time for us. The lockdown placed a huge financial strain on our organsiation and the continued cost of living crisis has made it very hard for us to rebuild our financial position. We are now at the point where we may not be able to avoid insolvency.
We are looking for:
- A pro bono registered liquidator or other appropriately qualified specialist insolvency accountant to conduct a solvency review of our incorporated association and advise on available options or, if appropriate,
- A pro bono voluntary administrator to help us assess our options and pursue the best course of action for both our association and our creditors.
About the organisation
VeganNSW is a community-run organisation dedicated to educating people about the ethics and benefits of veganism. Since 2017 we have run Sydney Vegan Market at various locations around Sydney where vegan stallholders have gathered with the Sydney Vegan community to celebrate vegan food, charities, clothing and entertainers.
