About the role
Peel ArtsConnect is seeking passionate and community-minded individuals to join its Board as Ordinary Members in a volunteer capacity. Ideal candidates will have experience in advocacy, outreach, project leadership, or nonprofit governance, and a strong commitment to arts, cultural inclusion, and regional development. Board Members contribute by representing the organization at public events, leading or supporting special projects, and participating in sub-committees focused on areas like communications, fundraising, and programming. They also provide strategic input during board meetings and help shape policies and initiatives that reflect Peel ArtsConnect’s values of equity, creativity, and community connection. Strong communication skills, collaborative spirit, and a willingness to actively engage are essential to making a meaningful impact in this role.
