About the Role

-Would you like to gain experience in working with all aspects of social media?

-Are you passionate about community development and advocacy against domestic violence?

PartnerSPEAK provides advocacy and support for the non-offending partner and family of a perpetrator of child sexual abuse and child exploitation material

PartnerSPEAK is founded on the premise that child abuse material involves abhorrent abuse of children that creates a hidden impact on the often-forgotten partners and family members of perpetrators.

Whilst this pioneering organisation has experienced some growth in the past few months, it is still predominantly run by a team of highly competent and fierce volunteers. We are looking to expand this team with an equally fierce Social Media Coordinator.

As the PartnerSPEAK social media coordinator you will be working on the social media strategy, ensuring PartnerSPEAKs continued presence on social media, such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You will need to set aside roughly 2-3 hours per week on average.

The volunteer media coordinator will be working on things such as:

-Ensuring that the content on PartnerSPEAK’s social media accounts remain relevant, informative, inclusive and in line with the PartnerSPEAK values.

-Ensuring that all social media activity be in line with PartnerSPEAK’s brand, values and tone.

-Coordinating the work pertaining to PartnerSPEAKs social media accounts, including finding and vetting content, scheduling content and moderating discussions on the PartnerSPEAKs social media accounts.

You will also get the chance to build your own social media team as well as coordinate and instruct the team once onboard.

In return, you will get the chance to upskill and expand your professional wings in a groundbreaking and fearless organisation who takes pride in continuous improvement and professional development. The role can be undertaken remotely and as such, the hours of work are flexible.

Don’t let this opportunity to be the change you want to see in the world pass you by! Apply now by emailing Elena (Volunteer Manager) at elena@partnerspeak.org.au

Affected partners and mums are encouraged to apply.
