This 1-day workshop provides an introduction to the principles of Systems Theory, the fundamental building blocks of the systemic approach and its application both clinically and within workplace systems.
Develop skills to explore a problem through multiple perspectives and think systemically about the possible explanations whilst employing a relationship focused approach to understanding the interactions between people and a framework.
Learning objectives
•Understand how systems work, the structure and functioning within and between systems, and the idea of wider systems
•Explore the difference between linear and circular approaches and the importance of remaining curious to the multiple perspectives on a situation
•Develop skills to respectfully explore a concern and think systemically about the possible explanations
•Discover how to employ a relationship focused approach to understanding the interactions between people and a framework around the connection between behaviour, meaning and relationships
•Identify the necessary tools utilised for understanding relationship patterns within a system
