This 2-day course provides the skills and tools to run ‘Keeping Children Safe’, a community group program based on a psycho-educational model, designed to teach parents and carers ways to help protect children and young people and create a safe environment.
Even if you are not involved in facilitating groups, this course provides a greater awareness of child abuse and neglect, and their possible effects to provide the knowledge and tools to engage parents in discussions around these difficult topics.
