The Care Manager is responsible for the delivery of a high standard of resident care in order to achieve the desired resident outcomes. The Care Manager is both directly and indirectly responsible for the provision of focused, holistic nursing care.
The Care Manager takes responsibility for the day-to-day management undertaking special responsibilities in the areas of administration, education, continuous improvement and the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI).
Sunnyside House Inc. is a modern state of the art, 40 bed not for profit residential facility situated at Camperdown in
the “Lakes & Craters” area of Western Victoria. The aim of Sunnyside is to provide a place of complete care and security in a picturesque and happy environment where residents are supervised at all times but can still retain as much of their independence as possible.
The Care Manager is to ensure that the service achieves and maintains the requirements of accreditation whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement based on a resident focused approach.
To be considered you require:
• Registered Nurse DIV1 and Current registration AHPRA
• Previous experience in managing all functional areas within a residential aged care service
• Proven experience and knowledge of wound care
