About the service offer
The Enhanced Adult Living Support Services (EACLSS) program is a new service offer designed to work with participants to address key areas that support the participant in identifying and nurturing natural supports that sustain recovery and assist in the development of self-management skills.
About the role
As the Team Leader you will oversee the development of the program and develop and maintain the day to day operations and administration of the program. This includes partnership and stakeholder relationships, business administration, staff support and supervision and a small caseload of participants.
As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in social science or similar discipline or relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading a team
- Demonstrated case practice in a health, community or related field
- Previous experience working within programs for people with mental illness or their carers
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining effective partnerships
- An understanding of the biopsychosocial model of mental health, and how social inclusions principles are applied to service delivery and recovery
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals
- A current valid Driver’s Licence, satisfactory Police Records Check and a Working with Children Check
About MI Fellowship
MI Fellowship, or Wellways as we are now known, works with people with mental illness and other psychosocial disabilities, their families and friends to improve their wellbeing and to gain inclusion into communities. We provide this support through recovery, education, advocacy programs and provide a range of innovative rehabilitation programs. We currently employ over 450 staff and work across multiple sites within Victoria, Tasmania, New South Wales, Queensland and the ACT.
