The role
You will be responsible for leading a team tasked with acquiring new business, driving income
portfolio growth and retaining portfolio income. The role will be accountable for developing and
implementing sales processes, building team capability and optimising ROI performance. Your
responsibilities will include:
– leading a national team of corporate relationship managers;
– supporting the organisation’s ambitious growth agenda to develop new partnerships;
– managing and optimising the existing national corporate partnerships portfolio and
significantly increasing its impact in its market;
– driving the strategic approach and tactical plan to increase partnership opportunities across
cause related marketing, corporate social responsibility and shared value opportunities; and
– researching, developing, pitching and managing a pipeline of partnership opportunities to
achieve income targets and budgets.
Experience and skills required
Experience in corporate business development/account management/relationship management
and financial and cost management expertise will be essential. You will also require:
– the demonstrable ability to build talented, high performing sales/account management
teams;
– relational development skills;
– the ability to create, implement and manage an expansive and commercial corporate sales
strategy that delivers its growth targets;
– a track record in setting, managing and meeting challenging productivity metrics/KPI’s and
developing and implementing effective sales processes;
– strong knowledge of territory management and sales methodologies; and
– a commitment to delivering a supporter experience that exceeds expectations.
