About the role
Family Life is looking for an experienced Community Bubs (IFS) Practitioner to work closely with families. Specifically, the role will entail working with families where the mother is in the last trimester through to families with children up to 6 months old.
The role requires assessing family and social systems and formulating a service plan in collaboration with family and other relevant supports. The Community Bubs (IFS) Practitioner will support families for up to 12 months and will be required to assist the evidence based research component of the program, building on the previous pilot outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
● A Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Social Sciences or equivalent.
● Previous experience working in infant, child and family welfare.
● Experience in enhancing infant development through trauma informed practice.
● Highly effective interpersonal skills and experience working collaboratively with teams and volunteers.
● Experience working with families with complex presentations and involved with the Child Protection system.
