About the Role

Reporting Directly to the General Manager Community Services, the Senior Manager ARCS provides high level operational direction and leadership for the planning and delivery of aged & regional community services ensuring positive outcomes for customers and their families. The role will effectively manage human, material and financial resources, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the Aged Care Standards and all other legal and contractual compliance requirements.

The role is responsible for service development across regional areas within NSW and is supported by a qualified leadership team.

Some key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Developing and maintaining operations systems and procedures to support the effective delivery of programs.
  • Ensuring quality in service delivery to clients utilising person-centred approaches.
  • Developing an operating budget and manage operations within budget.
  • Recruiting, motivating and leading a team that supports the culture, values, and business objectives of LiveBetter.
  • Managing relationships with external agencies and liaising as appropriate to ensure program delivery for clients.

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing, Allied Health, Business, Social Sciences or Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing integrated client services teams.
  • Knowledge of aged care and health services Industry and quality standards.
  • Experience in operational planning, quality assurance and industry standard compliance systems.
  • Experience in working as part of a multidiscipline senior management team.
  • Demonstrated application of business principles to achieve service performance, growth and outcomes.
  • High level of business and commercial acumen.
  • High level of professional drive and initiative.
  • Organised, systematic, methodical approach to work.
  • Strong customer/client focus.
  • Demonstrated experience fostering and managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level communication and influencing skills including listening, negotiation, conflict resolution, presentation, and advanced writing skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing leadership, guidance, and fostering teamwork.
  • Values aligned with the LiveBetter values of integrity, respect, cooperation, empowerment and excellence
  • Unrestricted Drivers Licence and the ability to travel, including overnight stays.

 

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of regional health, aged care and community services.
  • Knowledge of service/carer issues for people from Indigenous and cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
  • Qualifications or extensive experience in Business Management.

You will also be required to undertake and pass a National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and pre-employment health & wellness check including drug and alcohol screening.
