The role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, in this highly varied role you will be responsible for delivering high level executive support to the Chief Executive Officer and providing secretariat support for matters relating to the Board, Council and Board committees and working groups. The role will also provide general administrative support and assistance to the NRHA team and ensure the efficient running of the office.
The successful candidate will have significant experience providing support at a senior or executive level. Your background will have given you demonstrated administrative and office-based skills, including organising general office functions and processes, as well as the ability to perform meeting scheduling, travel and minute taking tasks to a high standard.
You will have a high level of communication skills enabling you to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders including Board Directors, Council member organisations, delegates, senior representatives of other organisations, government departments, Ministerial and parliamentary staff.
As you’ll be managing correspondence, reports and numerous other forms of communication, you’ll need strong writing and editing skills, as well as a high level of organisation and attention to detail. Equally, you’ll be able to prioritise your workload to manage your time effectively and achieve outcomes within agreed timeframes. Excellent computer skills are essential.
The position offers a generous annual salary, salary sacrifice/salary packaging (full PBI status) and 10.5% employer superannuation contributions.
