About the role
The Role
Reporting directly to the Board and CEO and working with multiple stakeholders across the organisation you will be responsible for the full legal, compliance and company secretarial requirements of the business. While this is a hands-on role, it also has the executive visibility and scope to significantly influence the organisation’s commercial decisions and is a crucial member of the Board and Executive leadership team. Your ability to build associations based on trust and respect with stakeholders will be a key performance metric.
About You

Your career will include experience in the design and support of Board and Director development programs. You must have also provided internal legal counsel, particularly in the areas of contract negotiation, knowledge management and on-going efficient procurement of external advice where it was appropriate.
You will be self-assured, unflappable, adaptable, able to anticipate and evaluate scenarios to provide the best advice to manage risk effectively. Equally, you will be able to demonstrate a balance of commercial acumen, intellect, a strategic mind, a hands-on approach, and excellent rapport building and stakeholder management skills. You must be admitted as a Solicitor and qualifications from the Governance Institute of Australia, and Australian Institute of Company Directors will set you apart.
